Balcony of the Mediterranean
The Rambla Nova, where the APARTAMENTS LAURIA are located, was inaugurated in 1854 and from that moment, being the largest and most emblematic Paseo de Tarragona, it became a place of enjoyment for the Tarraconenses. At the end of the Rambla and scarce meters from APARTAMENTS LAURIA, there is the Balcony of the Mediterranean, where all those who come, will "touch ferro" (touch iron), as it is said that brings luck to whoever touches the railing.It is located on a cliff of 40 meters above the sea and in it you can see the Mare Nostrum in all its extension, the Port of Tarragona, the Nautical Club, the Beach of the Miracle, as well as the Roman Amphitheater.
Next to the Balcony of the Mediterranean is the monument to Roger de Lauria, Admiral of the Fleet of the Crown of Aragon and of Sicily (1245-1305). Monument in bronze, work of the sculptor Feliu Ferrer Galzeran, inaugurated in 1889 on a pedestal work of the architect Ramon Salas.

The Cathedral of Tarragona of Santa Tecla
The Metropolitan Basilica and Primate Cathedral of Santa Tecla, was built between 1170 and 1331, beginning with a late Romanesque and concluding in early Gothic style. It was built where, previously, there was the Temple dedicated to Emperor Augustus, who had a facade of 8 columns, following the model of the great buildings of Rome and located in the center of the great enclosure of imperial cult. Later, it was built in the same place, a Visigothic Cathedral and an Arab Mosque. It has a Latin cross basilica plan with three ships. In its northeast part the cloister is located, with great profusion of capitals. It highlights the important collection of 55 tapestries woven between the XV and XVIII centuries. The cathedral treasure is basically kept in the Diocesan Museum of Tarragona.

Forum Square
In this space, there was the lower Plaza de Foro Provincial, a huge rectangular enclosure surrounded by a portico structure. Currently, only remains of these porticos can be seen in the buildings of the former Audiencia, Plaza del Pallol and Plaza de Santiago Rusiñol.

Plaza de la Font
It occupies a part of the old Roman circus. Currently, it is the headquarters of the City Council and is a space for nightlife.

Plaza del Rey
It is located in the southeast of the historic center of Tarragona. In it are remains of the ancient Roman Praetorium, which hosted the Emperor Augustus, being later transformed into the King's Castle, becoming the accommodation of the Catalan kings who visited Tarragona. it is the National Archaeological Museum and the Churches of Nazareth and the Trinity. From this Plaza begins on Good Friday, the Procession of the Holy Burial, which runs throughout Tarragona, with its beginning and end.

Casa Castellarnau
Located on Calle Caballers no. 14, Casa Castellearnau was built at the beginning of the 15th century, being inhabited by the same family until the end of the 19th century. It highlights the visit, in 1542, of Emperor Carlos I of Spain during his stay in Tarragona. Reformed several times since its construction, you can see in its rooms and furniture, several emblematic spaces of Tarragona life through the years.

Canals House
Located on Granada Street No. 11, the current building is from the late eighteenth century, with its own structure of the stately homes of the time. It was inhabited by the Canals family until the late twentieth century, being acquired by the Generalitat, who gave it to the Town Hall, current owner. With furniture from the 18th to the 20th centuries, it has a romantic garden with rockery fountains and the second floor is suitable for exhibitions.

Central Market of Tarragona
Modernist style, it was built in 1915 and recently renovated. It consists of three naves and houses different points of sale of all kinds of gastronomic products.

Tarraco Arena Plaza

Casa Bofarull Modernist Masia
