The Holy Week in Tarragona has its preliminary acts, consisting of conferences, presentation of the poster of Holy Week, the annual Book of the Association dedicated to it, as well as different tracts of each Brotherhood and opening of different thematic exhibitions. The most noteworthy are the various processional parades that take place during this week, the most important being the Procession of the Holy Burial, documented since 1550 and which takes place on the afternoon of Good Friday.
This Procession begins around 4:00 pm in the afternoon, by means of the collection, by the Roman cohort, together with the Cofrades of the different "Processional Steps", from the Headquarters in which they stay during the year, until the Plaz del Rey, from where it starts, around 7:30 p.m. the Procession of the Holy Burial.
